Oh dear. My original plan for getting an Indian visa was to have a 2 day layover in NY, see some people, and get it done in the process. Then I found out that Kuwait "Fly Muslim, Fly Safe!" Airlines doesn't allow layovers for more than a few hours. So I had to fly to Chicago yesterday for the sole purpose of having an official stamp it; incidentally, the Indian consulate is located in the NBC building, which means there's a giant peacock on top. Ironic. Well, probably just as ironic as the taping of Jerry Springer on the floor below. That sucked.
